Adjustable Dog Paw Wound Covers – Waterproof, Non-Slip Boots for Injury Recovery
My Irish Wolfhound has had surgery on one front foot and one back foot. His affected feet are obviously bandaged and this means the boots are not large enough.
I have a 10mo Border Collie. A month ago he managed to seriously injured his paw and required stitches. He had a cone on and we had to change his bandages regularly and keep his wound dry. As you can imagine it was very difficult. I ordered two different boots. One with the harness and the other without. We liked the one with the harnes around his neck because he couldnt get it off, especially during walks. The velcro straps were able to make it a snug fit. We did use a sock over the bandage and before putting on the boot as dog hair was hard to get off the lining. It did the job amazingly. So happy we got it as we were finally able to go on walks and with the boot on I didnt need to worry about his bandages getting wet or dirty. I wouldnt recommend for heavy rain or puddles but definitely ok for the morning dew etc. His cone is off and he has recovered but I still use it to make sure his skin heals up 100%
